EY is seeking a skilled Digital Asset Software Engineer to join the Digital Asset Research Center in the US. You will research public blockchains, develop tools, and collaborate with auditors to test digital asset financial statements.

Qualifications

• Three to five years of related work experience in application development.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems Management or related field.
• Strong understanding of blockchain technology, smart contracts, and decentralized applications (dApps).
• Experience with JavaScript/TypeScript development (Node.js, Express, React, Angular).
• Experience with Ethereum/Solidity or other protocols (Hyperledger, Solana).
• Testing frameworks such as Jest, Mocha.
• Databases including NoSQL and SQL.
• Git or other version control
• Container technologies such as Docker
• DevOps and cloud providers such as Azure, AWS, or GCP
• Experience in Agile teams
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for technical writing and client presentations
• Willingness to travel and work beyond standard hours
• Driver’s license recommended

Responsibilities

• Full-stack software development including front-end and back-end
• Create technical documentation and memos for complex digital asset topics
• Collaborate with financial auditors to test financial statement assertions relating to digital assets
• Solve novel technical problems and provide innovative solutions to support client solutions/implementations
• Keep up-to-date on emerging leading practices in this fast-growing area and identify where new practices can be applied
