Job summary

Harakumo is seeking an engineer to own end-to-end services on our edge platform, from route handling to provisioning and dashboard creation. You will build the AI orchestration layer (MCP server and agent tooling) to wire Harakumo services via natural language.

You will drive reliability with tests, migrations on edge SQLite, and robust observability, while talking to developers, drafting documentation, and translating feedback into product improvements.

Qualifications

• Strong SQL and data modeling skills with the ability to design scalable data schemas.
• Experience designing clean public APIs and SDKs for external use.
• Familiarity with deploying and maintaining services, and contributing to open-source projects.

Responsibilities

• Ship end-to-end services: route handlers, provisioning on edge infrastructure, dashboards, SDK namespace, and docs.
• Build the AI orchestration layer with an MCP server and agent tooling to provision Harakumo services from natural language.
• Own reliability through tests, migrations on edge SQLite, observability, and incident response.
• Collaborate with developers, write docs and examples, and translate feedback into product improvements.
