Job summary

Veritus is an AI communications platform for financial services. We’re building AI voice and text agents that handle thousands of conversations daily for major clients across the lending lifecycle, from application funnels to outbound collections payments.

We’re seeking a software engineer who ships code and talks to users, offering full-stack ownership in TypeScript/React with direct exposure to customers. San Francisco-based and in person.

Qualifications

• 0-3 years of professional software engineering experience, including internships.
• Strong track record with TypeScript and React.
• Comfortable building and consuming APIs; Python is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Build and ship features across web app and backend services in TypeScript, React, and Next.js.
• Design and build APIs and integrations that connect our platform to external systems (CRMs, payment platforms, telephony, etc.).
• Work directly with customers, sales, and product to turn real-world requirements and compliance constraints into working, testable product logic.
• Use AI coding tools as a core part of how you build, not an afterthought.
• Help design and analyze experiments (A/B tests) to improve business outcomes for our clients.
• Get exposure to the unique challenges of building real-time, AI-native voice and chat systems.
