Pronto AI, a leader in autonomous vehicle technology, seeks a Full Stack Engineer to join our founding team in San Francisco. You will design and build critical software interfaces, develop end-to-end applications and APIs, and architect real-time user interfaces for both internal and external customers.

You will drive code reviews and mentor others while delivering scalable, production-ready systems. We require 2+ years of fullstack experience with Typescript or Python, strong knowledge of

Qualifications

• 2+ years building fullstack systems, with proficiency in Typescript, Python, or a similar language.
• Experience with RESTful APIs, microservices, and distributed systems.
• Experience building real-time systems with stateful protocols (websockets, gRPC streaming).

Responsibilities

• Design and build critical software interfaces that connect our physical AI to the digital world.
• Build end-to-end applications and APIs powering autonomous vehicle platforms and systems.
• Architect and implement real-time user-interfaces for internal and external customers.
• Build modern frontend and backend experiences surface insights from high-dimensional data.
• Debug complex issues across the engineering and data stack.
• Partner with product, design, and engineering to take systems from concept to production.
• Drive code reviews, testing, and documentation, and mentor engineers toward leadership.
