Job summary

Essentia Health is seeking a Board-Certified/Board-Eligible Nephrologist to join our established nephrology team in Duluth, Minnesota. This full-scope practice includes clinical nephrology, hypertension, dialysis, ICU nephrology, and post-transplant care within a large tertiary care system serving a regional population of about 460,000.

Hospitalists serve as the admitting service; nephrology functions as a consultative service. Inpatient practice at SMDC Medical Center and St.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree and board certification in nephrology or board-eligible.
• Eligible for Minnesota and/or Wisconsin medical licensure.
• Current fellows and experienced nephrologists encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Full-scope nephrology practice including clinical nephrology, hypertension, dialysis, ICU nephrology and post-transplant care.
• Inpatient and consultative nephrology services with hospitalists as admitting service.
• Outreach consultative services across Twin Ports clinics and regional locations.
