Job summary

Capital Health Medical Group seeks a dedicated Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM) to join a full-scope midwifery team. The role spans inpatient obstetrics, labor and delivery, and outpatient prenatal/postpartum services across multiple sites.

Compensation reflects full-time status with a comprehensive benefits package. Active AMCB certification and NJ CNM licensure are required, with hospital privileges potential for surgical first assist in cesarean sections.

Qualifications

• MSN, MS in Midwifery, or DNP from ACME-accredited program required.
• Active AMCB certification and NJ license with prescriptive authority.
• NJ RN/CNM licensure in good standing and eligibility to obtain license.

Responsibilities

• Inpatient hospital care with full-scope intrapartum management.
• Obstetrical triage for acute presentations and postpartum rounding.
• Flexible 12- or 24-hour inpatient shifts to cover hospital needs.
• Prenatal and postpartum care, routine well-woman services.
• Office scheduling with 8-hour outpatient days.
• Surgical first assist for cesarean sections (opportunity).
• Point-of-care ultrasound training/credentialing in clinic.
