Cleveland Clinic is seeking a Certified Nurse Midwife to join our Advanced Practice Provider team. The CNM will provide full-scope obstetric and women's health care in outpatient and inpatient settings, including postpartum rounds and labor management.

Responsibilities include comprehensive patient care, collaboration with the health care team, and education of patients about treatments and medications. Excellent clinical skills and a commitment to high-quality patient outcomes are essential.

Formación

• MSN required upon hire or within 3 years for external hires and internal hires moving from a non-APRN licensed role to an APRN licensed role.
• Graduate of an accredited APRN program.
• Master’s Degree required upon hire for neonatal care service area.

Responsabilidades

• Conducts thorough medical histories and physical exams and develops a working diagnosis and treatment plan.
• Performs routine and specialized procedures as credentialed and privileged by the Medical Executive Committee.
• Prescribes and monitors medications as allowed by license.
• Educates patients about disease, treatments, and drug side effects.
• Collaborates with nursing, medical and other healthcare team members to ensure quality patient care.
• Refers patients to specialists for consultation or specialized care.
