Job Description

If you like to work with plants, this job is for you! Phone communication via email, texts, and calls is required. We offer very flexible schedules. A Merchandiser at ICS represents our company to our clients' customers, supporting Home Depot stores in your area. Responsibilities include visual merchandising, unloading & stocking shipments of live goods, and customer relations at the location.

Tasks and Responsibilities

• Comply with ICS policies and procedures
• Maintain excellent client relationships
• Execute merchandising standards at the client location
• Communicate daily with leadership regarding operational obstacles
• Advocate watering standards for plant health
• Stock tables and displays, keep the garden center organized and planogram compliant
• Ensure signage is in place and accurate
• Verify delivery orders and check them in properly
• Merchandise carts with signage for easy shopping
• Support inventory accuracy
• Assist team members as needed
• Work eagerly and be ready for challenges
• Basic knowledge or interest in plants and gardening is helpful
• Maintain professionalism and strong communication skills
• Experience in merchandising is a plus, attitude is most important
• Work effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Complete tasks while maintaining order
• Work proactively without constant oversight
• Use smartphones/devices daily for timekeeping
