Job summary

X-Factor Consulting is seeking a motivated recruiter to own full-desk permanent recruitment with a strong emphasis on business development. The role blends 80% recruiting and 20% client-facing activities, including meetings, trade shows and networking.

You'll source, screen, interview, and close candidates across Supply Chain, Finance/Accounting, Engineering, and Executive Search, while leveraging AI and automation tools to streamline workflows.

Qualifications

• Experience in staffing agency environment required; corporate recruitment + agency experience preferred.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with ability to handle ambiguity and organize recruitment processes with minimal direction after ramp-up.
• Minimum 3+ years full-desk agency experience or combination of corporate and agency recruiting experience.

Responsibilities

• Own full-desk permanent recruiting and sales: 80% recruiting / 20% business development (client meetings, trade shows, networking events, etc.), adjusting mix based on recruiting volume.
• Partner with clients to manage intake meeting, build recruitment strategies, and organize end-to-end recruiting processes.
• Source, screen, interview, and close candidates across a variety of industries including: Supply Chain, Finance/Accounting, Engineering, and Executive Search.
• Act as a talent advisor, providing key data and recommendations to clients.
• Develop and grow client base while maintaining strong client focus and candidate markets/pipelines.
• Comfortable using and leveraging AI and automation tools (Claude, Copilot, ATS/CRM) to streamline workflows.
• Deliver exceptional client and candidate experience from intake to offer.

Qualifications & Experience

• Experience in staffing agency environment required; corporate recruiting + agency experience preferred.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with proven ability to handle ambiguity and organize recruitment processes with little direction post ramp-up period.
• Minimum 3+ years full desk agency experience or combination of corporate and agency recruiting experience. Able to manage short turn-around results and meet deadlines.
• Background in Supply Chain, Finance/Accounting, Engineering, or Executive Search strongly preferred.
• Curiosity and hands-on experience with AI/automation tools (Claude, Copilot, etc.).
• Strong customer service, communication, and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to attend networking events and travel when needed.
• Remote: Must reside in the greater Central Florida area (Greater Orlando, Tampa, Lakeland, Daytona Beach, or surrounding areas), and the ability to attend in-person meetings each month locally and travel <10% for local events, networking, client meetings, etc.
