Job summary

TPIS is seeking a Talent Acquisition Specialist in San Juan, PR to manage the full recruitment lifecycle and partner with hiring managers on staffing needs. The role emphasizes relationship-building, proactive sourcing, and delivering a positive candidate experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred but not required.
• At least two years of experience in sales, business development, or another relationship-focused field.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to manage multiple vacancies, candidates, and deadlines simultaneously.
• Proficiency with ATS, job boards, Microsoft Office, and digital sourcing tools is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute recruitment strategies for multiple departments.
• Manage full recruitment lifecycle including postings, sourcing, reviews, screenings, interviews, and onboarding.
• Partner with hiring managers to understand requirements, priorities, and timelines.
• Source and engage candidates through job boards, social media, networks, referrals, and outreach.
• Present opportunities compellingly to generate candidate interest.
• Evaluate candidates based on experience, skills, and fit.
• Coordinate interviews, assessments, background checks, and pre-employment steps.
• Maintain recruitment records in the applicant tracking system.
• Build talent pipelines for current and future staffing needs.
• Develop relationships with schools, communities, and other talent sources.
• Monitor hiring metrics and labor-market trends to improve sourcing.
