Job summary

The State Group is seeking a Recruiter to support our Operations team on a 15-month project in Hawesville, Kentucky. This role will manage the full-cycle recruitment process across the U.S. and Canada, partnering with hiring managers to fill roles promptly.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience, preferably in construction, and a Bachelor’s degree in HR or related field. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are essential to keep multiple requisitions

Qualifications

• 3+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience, including experience recruiting in the construction industry.
• Bachelor’s degree in human resources or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• General foundational knowledge of HR is preferred.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Close attention to detail and commitment to accuracy and compliance.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a professional and polished approach.
• Experience using applicant tracking systems, job boards, and social media recruiting tools.

Responsibilities

• Manage the full-cycle recruitment process across U.S. and Canada operations, ensuring efficiency and quality at every stage.
• Partner closely with hiring managers to understand role requirements and deliver qualified candidates promptly.
• Maintain a high level of organization and attention to detail while handling multiple open requisitions.
• Track, analyze, and report on recruiting metrics and KPIs to drive continuous improvement and inform strategy.
• Ensure compliance with all federal, state, provincial, and local employment laws and company policies.
• Represent the organization at university events and career fairs, strengthening the talent pipeline.
• Provide consistent, professional communication with candidates and hiring managers throughout the hiring and onboarding process.
• Identify trends and recommend process improvements to enhance recruiting effectiveness.
• Support HR projects and initiatives as directed by the CHRO.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
