Job summary

John B. Sanfilippo & Son, Inc. is seeking a Recruiter to manage the full-cycle recruitment process for hourly manufacturing, warehouse, sanitation, and other operations roles in Elgin, IL.

The role partners with hiring managers and HR to build pipelines, screen candidates, coordinate interviews, and extend offers. The position is on-site four days a week, bilingual in English and Spanish is required, and candidates must be able to read, write, speak, and communicate professionally in both

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Associate or Bachelor's degree in HR/Business or related field preferred.
• Minimum of one year of experience in recruiting, staffing, HR, customer service, or high-volume coordination.
• Experience recruiting hourly employees in manufacturing, distribution, warehouse, or fast-paced operations.
• Experience using an applicant tracking system (ATS), preferably UKG, preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manages full-cycle recruitment for hourly operations positions, including postings, sourcing, screening, interview coordination, and offers.
• Develops candidate pipelines through job boards, referrals, events, and local outreach.
• Partners with hiring managers and HR to understand staffing needs, priorities, and criteria.
• Provides regular updates on candidate activity and hiring progress.
• Maintains accurate records in the ATS and ensures compliance with policies.
