Foster Wallace Personal Injury Lawyers in Kansas City seeks an experienced paralegal to manage full-cycle cases from pre-litigation through settlement. You’ll handle client communication, drafting, medical-record coordination, and discovery support with a teammate in a tech-forward firm.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years paralegal experience, must have prior experience in working cases from pre-litigation through litigation.
• Proactive, self-directed with ownership of files; a team player who stays ahead of tasks.
• Clear communication; ability to raise questions for clarity, assistance, or improvements.
• Experience reviewing medical records and summarizing for case files.
• Strong drafting and note-taking skills; drafting correspondence and keeping case notes accurate.
• Comfortable learning new tools, including AI-assisted platforms.
• Spanish fluency required.
• Salary range: $65-75K; non-exempt position eligible for overtime.

Responsibilities

• Own paralegal cases from initial investigation through settlement and trial readiness.
• Manage client communication, document drafting, and medical records coordination.
• Support discovery, and keep cases moving with a dedicated case manager and team.
• Draft correspondence, summarize records, and maintain accurate case notes.
• Collaborate closely with attorneys to pursue the best outcomes for clients.
