Senior Helpers in Providence, RI is seeking a Recruiter to join our team and lead full-cycle recruiting for care-focused roles. You will source candidates, conduct interviews, and coordinate onboarding to support clients, families, and staff.

Qualifications

• Experience in recruiting or HR onboarding required.
• Ability to multi-task and handle pressure situations.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Exceptional and verifiable customer service skills and experience.
• Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Proactive problem prevention and issue resolution leadership.
• Proficiency in Word, Excel, Internet, and Outlook.
• Strong verbal communication skills, especially via telephone.
• MUST pass a criminal history background check.

Responsibilities

• Inputs complete applicant and employee information into Information System and create new hire packets for orientation.
• Oversees recruiting, interviewing, testing, selection, placement, and orientation of all new personnel.
• Prepares and maintains compliant personnel files.
• Develops full-cycle recruiting strategies using various sources and events.
• Creates, posts, and maintains job advertisements.
• Determine applicant qualifications via pre-screen interviews and references.
• Schedules in-person interviews based on pre-screen results.
• Participates in on-call after hours rotation, including weekends and holidays.
• Schedule and coordinate caregiver staff based on assessment and care plan information.
• Locates new sources of qualified employees by attending job fairs and events.
• Assist Office staff with calls and information for potential clients.
• Input office KPI’s into the operating system.
• Assist with On-Call Rotation and other duties as needed.
