Job summary

Hermann-Forwarding is seeking a Class A CDL Driver Recruiter in Houston to manage the full recruitment lifecycle for transportation roles. You will source, screen, and coordinate interviews, ensuring driver qualifications and DOT compliance, while collaborating with safety and operations teams.

You will leverage Tenstreet and an ATS to maintain accurate records, communicate with candidates, and drive timely hiring in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years recruiting experience, preferably in transportation.
• Strong understanding of CDL-A driver qualifications and DOT regulations.
• Proficiency with Tenstreet is required.
• Experience with organizing recruiting events and high-volume hiring.

Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed phone screenings to verify experience, safety history, employment history, license status, and work eligibility.
• Assess driver fit for Hermann’s freight network and culture.
• Manage full-cycle recruitment using ATS; coordinate interviews and offers.
• Ensure all driver documents are uploaded and complete; maintain detailed notes.
