Job Summary

A Full Cycle Accounting Manager opportunity is available with an established aerospace and manufacturing organization in Ventura, CA. Key Responsibilities

• Manage month-end close, journal entries, reconciliations, and timely financial reporting.
• Oversee AP, AR, General Ledger, Fixed Assets, and full-cycle accounting operations.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and financial reporting support.
• Ensure compliance with GAAP, accounting policies, and internal control standards.
• Supervise, mentor, and develop accounting staff while supporting process improvements.
• Partner with leadership and cross-functional teams on ERP-driven accounting workflows.

Compensation and Benefits

• Job type: Temp-to-Hire.
• Location: Ventura, CA.
• Pay range: $58 to $64 per hourdepending on experience

Required Qualifications and Skills

• - Manage full-cycle accounting operations across AP, AR, General Ledger, Fixed Assets, close, and reporting.
• Lead month-end close, financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and internal control activities.
• Supervise accounting staff and support team performance, accuracy, and accountability.
• Support ERP-based accounting processes in a manufacturing or aerospace environment.
• - Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required.
• - 5+ years of accounting or finance experience required.
• - 2+ years of accounting management or supervisory experience required.
• - Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, accounting principles, and internal controls.
• - Experience with ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle required.
• - Manufacturing or aerospace industry experience required.
• - Strong leadership, communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• - Ability to work hands-on while also managing priorities, deadlines, and team performance.

Preferred Qualifications

• - CPA certification preferred.
• - Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
• - Government contracting experience a plus.
