Job summary

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance is required.
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• Manufacturing accounting and inventory costing experience is required.
• Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP, general ledger accounting, and month-end close processes.
• Experience with ERP systems and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Supervisory or management experience preferred.
• Aerospace and Defense industry experience is a plus.
• Familiarity with FAR, DFARS, or DCAA requirements is highly desirable.

• Review standard cost calculations, labor allocations, overhead allocations, and manufacturing variances.

• Ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP and maintain strong internal controls.
• Support external audits and applicable aerospace and defense contract requirements.
• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of accounting professionals.
• Drive process improvements to enhance reporting accuracy and cost controls.
• Partner with operations and supply chain teams to support inventory management and financial performance.

Accounting Manager
