Job summary

FastTrack Staffing seeks an experienced Full Charge Bookkeeper to manage all accounting and financial recordkeeping for a small family-owned business on the Southside of Jacksonville. You will handle payroll, AR/AP, GL, bank reconciliations, and financial reporting.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of bookkeeping, degree in accounting preferred, and proficiency with QuickBooks or Sage and advanced Excel. Integrity, discretion, and ability to work independently are essential.

Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of bookkeeping or accounting experience.
• Experience as a Full Charge Bookkeeper preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage all day-to-day bookkeeping and accounting functions.
• Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.
• Reconcile bank, credit card, and loan accounts.
• Prepare and process payroll accurately and on time.
• Maintain general ledger and journal entries.
• Generate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Prepare financial reports for management review.
• Assist with budgeting and cash flow management.
• Manage sales tax filings and other required tax reporting.
• Coordinate with external accountants during audits and tax preparation.
• Monitor company expenses and ensure proper documentation.
• Maintain organized financial records and documentation.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
