Job summary

Whitefish Search Partners is seeking an in-house accountant in Minnesota to manage accounting tasks, maintain inventory and pricing, process invoices, and handle A/P and A/R cycles. The role requires solid accounting training and experience, with strong Excel skills and attention to detail.

You will perform month-end close activities, reconcile accounts, prepare tax returns (sales and fuel), and generate timely financial reports for management.

Qualifications

• Accounting experience or associate degree in accounting.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and strong time management skills.
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Prepare monthly financial statements including P&L.
• Tax preparation and filing.
• Process invoices and prepare expense reports.
• Assist with month-end close and reconciliations.
• Present budgets and reports to management.
