Job summary

Malin seeks a Staff Accountant to join its Finance Department, supporting day-to-day accounting, month-end close, and general ledger maintenance in a fast-paced environment. You will prepare routine journal entries, perform reconciliations, and assist with month-end close and reporting, while collaborating with internal teams to ensure accurate financial results.

Experience with inventories, sales operations, and ERP accounting systems will help drive efficiency and strong internal controls

Qualifications

College degree in Accounting or Business required.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and large data sets; ERP experience is a plus.
Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
High level of accuracy and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

Prepare routine journal entries and perform account reconciliations.
Support the month-end close process and reporting.
Assist with daily inventory reconciliation and maintenance in alignment with sales operations.
Process Customer Sales Invoices, Vendor Credits and Buy-Outs as needed.
Assist in gathering support for internal and external audits.
