Job summary

Qualifications

• 2-year AS accounting degree plus accounting work experience.
• Bachelor's degree in accounting preferred with work experience.
• Proficient with accounting software and MS Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Perform full charge bookkeeping and maintain GAAP compliance.
• Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.
• Review and post bi-weekly payroll journals.
• Prepare and file monthly sales tax returns.
• Maintain controls for Food Stamps and petty cash.
• Process billing and reconciliation for internal and external vouchers.
• Prepare monthly financial reports and audit schedules.
• Reconcile payroll deductions and exchange accounts.
• Work with HR on pension contribution reports.
• Generate and submit sales and vehicle reports.
• Assist with budget preparations and data entry.
• Collaborate on month/year-end closing with leadership.
