Qualifications

• Proven experience in full-charge bookkeeping or accounting roles.
• Extensive knowledge of accounting systems such as QuickBooks or similar.
• Strong understanding of GAAP principles and governmental accounting standards.
• Experience with Stripe is highly desirable.
• Excellent numeracy skills and attention to detail.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Manage full-cycle bookkeeping, including A/P, A/R, payroll, and bank reconciliations.
• Prepare and review journal entries, ledger postings, and month-end closings.
• Reconcile general ledger accounts and perform balance sheet reconciliations.
• Oversee payroll processing and tax compliance.
• Data entry and analysis using Excel for reporting and audits.
• Support internal controls and audit preparations.
• Collaborate with external auditors during annual audits.
• Assist budgeting, credit analysis, and financial forecasting.
