Job summary

IKEA Joliet is hiring for a Warehouse Associate to support picking, packing, unloading, loading, replenishment, and yard operations. You will work to meet customer deadlines while maintaining a safe, clean, and efficient work environment.

The role requires at least 1 year of related experience, ability to lift 70 lbs, and certification on counterbalance and reach truck. English fluency and local language are required for effective communication.

Responsibilities

• Plan, lead, and perform tasks across picking, packing, unloading, loading, replenishment, and yard operations, prioritizing customer deadlines.
• Coordinate and prioritize daily tasks with understanding of the full operational workflow and business needs.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and sustainable work environment across all unit areas.
• Ensure adherence to safety requirements and SOPs, while training coworkers across functions.
• Manage progress toward goals set by the Fulfilment/Replenishment Operations Team Leader to support operational excellence.
• Supervise daily processes within the assigned area, address deviations, resolve problems, and identify improvement opportunities.
• Monitor and enforce daily routines to ensure consistent performance and stability.
• Communicate Quality Support Center (QSC) protocols to teams and stakeholders.
• Coordinate with internal and external partners to organize actions related to work orders and protocols.
• Maintain accurate records and reporting for all work orders and QSC protocols.
• Review and resolve internal deviations as part of goods receiving.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly work area at all times.
• Contribute to a strong and inclusive IKEA culture that reflects coworker and customer diversity.

• Manage progress toward goals set by the Fulfilment/Replenishment Operations Team Leader to support overall operational excellence.
• Supervise daily processes within the assigned area, taking action on deviations, resolving problems promptly, and identifying improvement opportunities.
• Monitor and enforce daily routines to ensure consistent performance and operational stability.
