Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. in Columbus, OH is hiring Temp-to-Hire Warehouse Associates for a fast-paced distribution environment. Earn $17.00 per hour with weekly pay and on-the-job training, in a clean and safe facility.

Shifts are Monday–Friday, 8:00 am–4:30 pm with overtime on weekends as needed. You’ll handle retail clothing & accessories, operate RF scanners, and support a team-first culture across the US.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Six months of related warehouse experience required.
• Learn to operate powered industrial truck(s) including stand-up/sit-down forklifts and pallet jacks.
• May be required to operate manual and/or automated other warehouse equipment.
• Powered industrial truck certification may be required or preferred.

Responsibilities

• Package, kit and/or assemble orders and materials.
• Load and unload inbound/outbound trailers; ensure all scanning is completed correctly.
• Perform picking and packing duties and maintain accuracy in orders.
• Maintain housekeeping and comply with location policies and procedures.
• Support training of dock staff and participate in continuous improvement.
