Ryder System, Inc. in Franklin, Indiana is hiring full-time Warehouse Associates. Earn $18.00 per hour with overtime and weekly pay.

Two first-shift options are available (8:00 AM - 5:30 PM or 9:00 AM - 6:30 PM) to support a growing distribution network across the US. Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Six months of related warehouse experience required.
• One year or more related warehouse experience preferred.
• Learn to operate powered industrial trucks (stand-up and sit-down forklifts, cherry pickers, pallet jacks) including maintenance (battery changes, common issues).
• May be required to operate manual and/or automated other warehouse/manufacturing equipment (packaging line).
• Powered industrial truck certification required.
• Ability to read and perform basic math in English for safety and work instructions.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted.
• Input data into the WMS system(s).
• Overtime may be required.

Responsibilities

• Package, kit and/or assemble orders and materials.
• Load and unload inbound/outbound trailers and ensure scanning is correct.
• Train dock employees on new procedures and secure the facility at end of shift.
• Perform picking and packing duties and check for product damage.
• Execute material moves and support warehouse operations.
• Perform housekeeping duties for assigned area.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
