Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. in Franklin, IN is hiring a Material Handler/Forklift Operator. The role offers first shift Monday–Friday, 9:00am–6:30pm, with weekly pay and comprehensive benefits.

You will work with HVAC products, operate stand-up/sit-down forklifts, and support a safe, state-of-the-art distribution environment. Eligible candidates have a high school diploma or equivalent, forklift license, and relevant warehouse experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 1+ year warehouse and/or powered industrial truck experience preferred.
• Valid Forklift Operator's License certified.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to work in a diverse environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform warehouse functions: loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, cycle counting.
• Adhere to performance guidelines of the contract.
• Accurate picking/packing, auditing, tote induction, staging, and loading/unloading.
• Handle day-to-day paperwork (picking sheets, returns, bills of lading).
• Provide maintenance support for the automated packing system during core shift hour.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
