Job summary

Lowe’s in the United States is seeking a customer-focused associate to support order fulfillment and in-store service. You will pick, stage, and inspect customer orders, ensuring accuracy and timeliness while maintaining safe, organized staging areas.

You will interact with customers, answer questions, validate orders, and connect customers with the right associates. A forklift/order picker/NAR certification is required, and you’ll help keep inventory accurate using store technology.

Qualifications

• 6 months of experience using a computer to input, access, modify, or output information.
• 6 months of experience using common retail technology such as smart phones and tablets.
• Powered equipment certification required (Counterbalance Forklift, Order Picker, Narrow Aisle Reach Truck); must be obtained if not already certified.

Responsibilities

• Pick, stage, inspect, and fulfill customer orders accurately and on time; keep staging areas clean, organized, and safe.
• Deliver excellent service by selecting high quality items, validating orders, answering questions, and connecting customers with the right associates.
• Operate and maintain certification for powered equipment and follow all safety requirements.
• Support inventory accuracy by using the Orders App, maintaining SIMS compliance, and working with leadership to resolve short picks.
• Complete administrative, maintenance, and readiness tasks such as audits, order follow-ups, and locker management; report safety or theft concerns promptly.
• Achieve daily responsibilities with a customer-first mindset and strong communication and teamwork.
• May be assigned other duties to support business needs.
