Job summary

Lowe's Home Centers, LLC is hiring for a customer-focused associate in a store setting. You will pick, stage, and fulfill customer orders with precision, while delivering service by guiding customers and answering questions. You will operate powered equipment safely and contribute to inventory accuracy daily.

The role emphasizes teamwork, safety, and readiness, with opportunities to handle administrative tasks, audits, and locker management. Training is provided for required certifications.

Qualifications

• 6 months of experience using a computer (inputting, accessing, modifying, outputting information)
• 6 months of experience using common retail technology such as smartphones and tablets
• Powered Equipment Certification: Counterbalance Forklift, Order Picker, and Narrow Aisle Reach Truck (Required; must be obtained if not already certified)
• High school diploma or GED preferred
• 6 months of retail experience preferred
• 6 months in customer service or product fulfillment at a home improvement retailer in related department
• 6 months of experience inspecting, carrying, loading and unloading products in any industry

Responsibilities

• Pick, stage, inspect, and fulfill customer orders accurately and on time
• Deliver excellent service by selecting high quality items, validating orders and answering questions
• Operate and maintain certification for powered equipment
• Support inventory accuracy using the Orders App and SIMS compliance
• Complete administrative, maintenance and readiness tasks with safety reporting
• Aim to meet daily duties with a customer-first mindset and teamwork
