Job summary

Lowe's in Lee's Summit, MO is hiring an Order Fulfillment Associate to pick, stage, inspect, and fulfill customer orders accurately and on time. You will help customers, validate orders, answer questions, and connect them with the right associates.

You will operate certified powered equipment, maintain safety and cleanliness, support inventory accuracy, and handle audits and follow-ups. This role emphasizes teamwork and strong communication, with additional duties as needed.

Qualifications

• 6 months of experience using a computer to input, access, modify, or output information.
• 6 months of experience using common retail technology, such as smartphones or tablets.
• Powered equipment certification required (Forklift, Order Picker, Reach Truck).
• High school diploma or GED preferred for this role.
• 6 months of retail experience or related customer service/products fulfillment experience is a plus.
• 6 months of experience inspecting, carrying, loading, and unloading product in any industry.

Responsibilities

• Pick, stage, inspect, and fulfill customer orders accurately and on time.
• Deliver excellent service by helping customers, validating orders, and connecting them with the right associates.
• Operate and maintain powered equipment and follow safety requirements.
• Support inventory accuracy using store tools and report short picks or discrepancies.
• Complete audits, maintenance, and readiness tasks and report safety or theft concerns.
• Maintain a customer-first mindset with strong communication and teamwork.
• May be assigned other duties to support business needs.
