Alto Pharmacy in San Diego is seeking a Fulfillment (Dispensing) Pharmacist to dispense medications accurately and on time while supporting technicians and inventory staff. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize patient care and uphold pharmacy regulations, with on-site work at the pharmacy.

The role emphasizes mentoring staff and ensuring timely medication availability in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

PharmD or PharmD-equivalent degree.
Current pharmacist license in good standing with the applicable Board of Pharmacy.
Experience in retail, hospital, outpatient, or fulfillment pharmacy settings.
Experience providing patient counseling.
Onsite work at the pharmacy location.
Proficient in pharmacy management software.

Responsibilities

Dispense prescription medications accurately.
Counsel patients on the safe use of medications, side effects, and drug interactions.
Ensure compliance with state and federal pharmacy regulations.
Help manage inventory to ensure timely availability of medications.
Mentor and support pharmacy technicians and staff in daily operations.
