Job summary

Dragonfly Health is hiring a fulfillment pharmacist to accurately dispense medications and ensure patient safety in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires a PharmD or BS in Pharmacy, active license, and experience in high-volume settings. You will lead pharmacy technicians, document thoroughly, and collaborate with prescribers to improve outcomes. A sign-on bonus and comprehensive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or PharmD from an accredited college of pharmacy.
  • Active, unrestricted Pharmacist License.
  • Eligibility to participate in federal prescription programs (Medicare, Medicaid).
  • Experience in high-volume community, mail order, or fulfillment pharmacy.

Responsibilities

  • Dispense prescription medications in compliance with regulations and policies.
  • Review prescriptions for dosage, interactions, and contraindications.
  • Provide oversight to ensure accurate preparation and packaging by technicians.
  • Maintain complete, compliant documentation for prescriptions and inventory.
  • Collaborate with prescribers and leadership to optimize patient outcomes.
  • Participate in audits and quality initiatives to improve workflows.

What we offer
  • Competitive Pay -Fulfillment pharmacist average starting annual earnings of $133,000/year (60.09/hour with shift differential (12% 6PM to 12:00AM and 15% 12:01AM-6AM)

What You Will Do
  • Accurately dispense prescription medications in compliance with federal and state regulations, company policies, and quality standards.
  • Review and verify prescriptions for dosage accuracy, potential interactions, and contraindications based on patient-specific factors.
  • Provide oversight, guidance, and quality assurance for pharmacy technicians to ensure accurate preparation and packaging of medications.
  • Maintain complete and compliant documentation for prescriptions, inventory, and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with prescribers, pharmacy leadership, and team members to resolve issues and optimize patient outcomes.
  • Participate in audits, process improvements, and continuous quality initiatives to enhance pharmacy workflows and ensure patient safety.
What we look for
  • Education: Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) from an accredited college of pharmacy
