Job summary

Jay Group is seeking a Fulfillment Supervisor at our corporate headquarters in Lancaster, PA. You will oversee daily fulfillment operations, supervise a team, and drive efficiency by monitoring schedules, quality, and safety protocols to meet client expectations.

The role requires extensive leadership experience in a warehouse setting, strong communication, and the ability to coordinate with multiple departments to improve processes and safety.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Associate degree or higher preferred.
• Five (5)+ years leading a team in a Warehouse environment.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of production management software (e.g., ERP systems).
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks.
• Detail-oriented with focus on quality and efficiency.
• Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.
• Proficiency with material handling equipment is a plus.
• Knowledge of safety regulations for warehouse equipment.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily fulfillment and project operations and ensure goals are achieved on time.
• Ensure schedules are followed and adjust resources to meet demand or delays.
• Monitor product quality to meet standards and customer expectations.
• Analyze fulfillment processes and identify areas for improvement.
• Implement best practices to optimize resource utilization.
• Collaborate with Maintenance, Client Services, Inventory, and Warehouse teams to resolve issues.
• Ensure safety procedures and regulatory requirements are followed.
• Conduct regular safety inspections and keep the area clean and hazard-free.
• Monitor forklift and equipment usage and report incidents.
• Prepare daily/weekly/monthly reports on output, quality, and efficiency.
• Maintain accurate fulfillment records including labor hours and counts.
• Analyze data to track trends and suggest corrective actions.
• Lead, mentor, and motivate the team with clear communication and policies.
• Hold regular team meetings and provide performance updates.
• Provide training and development opportunities to improve productivity.
• Manage shift scheduling and overtime for adequate peak coverage.
