Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree, preferably in business, engineering, or supply chain management (MBA preferred).
• 10+ years’ experience in operations and fulfillment production management in a multi-DC setting.
• Ability to interface with clients to address current and future needs.
• Knowledge of US Mail, Parcel, LTL, TL, and international shipping requirements.
• Ability to write reports and business correspondence for different audiences.
• Highly organized with the ability to train and motivate a strong team.
• Experience in fulfillment, warehouse, shipping/receiving, inventory control, and WMS.

Responsibilities

• Oversee distribution and fulfillment operations including staffing, training, safety, equipment maintenance, inventory control, budgeting and processes for a quality DC operation.
• Lead operations team expansion and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Analyze activities, costs, and forecast data to track progress toward goals.
• Develop standardized training to ensure consistent client experience across facilities.
• Leverage ERP, WMS, and LMS to manage DC operations and drive efficiencies.
• Monitor safety and audit processes, adhere to OSHA, coordinate with quality team.
• Plan resource needs and capacity to meet changing business demands.
• Build strong internal/external relationships with clients and vendors.
• Participate in RFPs, pricing, and client meetings; manage department costs.
