Job summary

Amazon in Ocala, FL is seeking an Area Manager to lead a team of hourly staff, ensuring safety, quality, productivity, and on-time delivery. You will engage the team during shifts, coordinate with support groups, and drive customer satisfaction across first, middle, and last mile operations.

The role requires 2+ years in people and performance management, a Bachelor’s degree (or 2+ years Amazon experience), and willingness to work flexible schedules including weekends or nights.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of employee and performance management experience.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent, or 2+ years of Amazon (blue badge/FTE) experience.
• Work a flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays.

Responsibilities

• Support, mentor, and motivate your hourly workforce.
• Manage safety, quality, productivity, and customer delivery promises.
• Collaborate with Safety, Engineering, Loss Prevention, Quality Assurance, HR to meet business objectives.
• Lift up to 49 pounds and stand/walk up to 12 hours during shifts.
• Work in environments with variable temperatures, noise, and outdoor loading areas.
• Work a flexible schedule (weekends and/or overnight shifts).
