Job summary

TRUMPF Inc. seeks a motivated intern to support cross-functional Fulfillment projects in Farmington, CT. You will work with Project Management, Installation Coordination, System Support, and Field Service to improve order-to-installation processes.

The role emphasizes operations, data analytics, and process improvement. You will contribute to road maps, toolkits, dashboards, and handoff improvements while working 24+ hours weekly onsite.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a degree in Business, Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, Project Management, Data Analytics, Manufacturing, or related field.
• Strong organizational and analytical skills.
• Interest in manufacturing technology and operational processes.
• Ability to gather information from subject matter experts and stakeholders.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop a customer-facing Fulfillment road map from order entry to installation.
• Create standardized preinstallation toolkits for Installation Coordinators.
• Develop KPIs and dashboards for System Support performance.
• Analyze information flow between Sales, Orders, Projects, and Installations.
• Help design a lessons-learned process for continuous improvement.
