Amazon is seeking a Project Manager to oversee and coordinate the execution of new build infrastructure and expansion projects within its Global Engineering, Maintenance, & Sustainability (GEMS) organization. You will lead a team of support personnel and manage multiple vendors to hit timelines and budgets while driving standardization across the network.

This role requires up to 80% travel nationwide, with relocation assistance available and the option to work from a corporate office when not

Formación

• 3+ years of program or project management experience.
• 3+ years of defining and implementing process improvement initiatives using data and metrics.
• Advanced Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLookups) and SQL.
• Experience working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams.
• Construction or related field with demonstrated expertise in budgets, project scheduling, and vendor management.

Responsabilidades

• Manage new and existing programs, successfully delivering difficult projects and goals across multiple organizations
• Partner with other program managers to secure resources, scope efforts, set project priorities and milestones and drive delivery
• Owns program communication, accelerating progress by driving crisp and timely decisions, clearing blockers (e.g., path to green), escalating as appropriate
• Influence design and development of strategic processes
• Work with program managers and business leaders to communicate and impact critical business initiatives
• Develop, implement, and governs the execution of all business, technical, fiscal, and administrative functions of the assigned program, project, or sub-task
• Provide accountability while reporting on status, asking for help, and immediately escalating issues and problems as necessary
• Responsible for overall project schedule that enables the teams to be successful based upon the project milestones and Go-Live
• Position includes travel up to 80% (Nationwide)
• This position requires a valid US driver’s license
