Job summary

Sarnova HC, LLC is seeking an Equipment Operator to accurately pick/pack merchandise, operate a forklift, and perform receiving duties in a warehouse setting. You will read orders, assemble and pack customer shipments, and process orders through carrier systems while maintaining safety and efficiency.

The role supports shipping and receiving functions in a fast-paced warehouse, with certifications and prior warehousing experience preferred to ensure accuracy and compliance with safety guidelines.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Sarnova Forklift Certification required or provided prior to operating equipment.
• 2–4 years of warehousing experience with 1–2 years forklift experience preferred.
• Experience with PC equipment preferred.
• Experience driving material handling equipment (Reach Truck, Cherry Picker, Forklift) preferred.
• Ability to use carrier’s computer shipping system for processing, labeling and tracking packages.
• Ability to work in a positive team environment and fast-paced warehouse setting.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules and operating manuals.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a forklift to load, unload, move, and stack products within the warehouse.
• Perform receiving functions for new, used, service, and returned goods.
• Read orders to determine items to pick and ship and place on pallets or bins.
• Move materials from receiving to shipping areas.
• Assemble and pack customer orders and attach packing slips.
• Process orders using the carrier’s online service.
• Label packages in compliance with hazmat shipping laws.
• Verify items on order for accuracy.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area.
• Assist in other warehouse duties as needed.
