Job summary

Cart.com in California is seeking an Operations Manager to oversee daily fulfillment center operations for multiple clients. You will supervise several shifts, coordinate inbound, outbound, inventory, and value-added services, and ensure KPIs are met.

You’ll partner with clients to uphold service levels, manage staffing within budget, and drive continuous improvement to reduce costs. The role requires hands-on leadership, clear communication, and a proven track record in 3PL or fulfillment

Qualifications

• 5+ years in warehouse/distribution operations.
• 3+ years managing supervisors/managers.
• 3PL or fulfillment experience.
• Experience with WMS, OMS, and data-driven management.

Responsibilities

• Support site-level P&L with labor planning, scheduling, and productivity.
• Lead supervisors across shifts to meet metrics like accuracy and UPH.
• Direct inbound, outbound, and inventory operations for seamless flow.
• Partner with clients to maintain high standards of performance.
• Track hours and department performance, including cost per piece.
• Review operations regularly and implement approved efficiency improvements.
• Manage staffing levels to fit budget and departmental needs.
• Oversee interviewing, training, and performance management.
• Foster collaboration, clear communication, and safety.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
