Job summary

Flexport is hiring a hands-on Area Manager to lead a large fulfillment team at one of our major centers. You will coach 30-100 associates, drive safety, inventory accuracy, and on-time shipping, and partner with Growth and Engineering to push improvements across the network.

You must excel in data analysis and communication, with SQL/Excel knowledge, and be willing to work varied shifts, including overnights and weekends.

Qualifications

• 2+ years managing staff of 5 or more.
• Ability to lift up to 49 pounds and work in varying conditions.
• Willing to work shifts that may include overnights and weekends.
• Experience in warehousing, fulfillment, or logistics management.
• Strong data analysis and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Coach, manage, and develop a team of 30-100.
• Own performance reporting for on-time receiving/shipping, inventory accuracy, and packing quality.
• Ensure safety programs and OSHA compliance.
• Collaborate with Growth and Engineering on systemic improvements.
• Communicate policies and act as primary information source for the team.
