Job summary

Abacus Solutions Group is seeking a Maintenance Specialist to support Fulfillment Operations in Southaven, MS. You will repair and maintain equipment, diagnose mechanical and electrical problems, and perform preventive maintenance with safety at the forefront.

Responsibilities include working with conveyors, completing work orders, and coordinating with vendors. The role requires physical stamina, the ability to work at heights, and strong problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred; experience valued.
• 3–5 years in mechanical or technical maintenance and/or installation.
• Strong ability to analyze and resolve mechanical/electrical issues.
• Reading and following instructions in English; basic math for inventory.
• Flexibility to work holidays/weekends; safety procedures understood.

Responsibilities

• Repair and maintain equipment; diagnose mechanical and electrical problems.
• Audit, troubleshoot, and perform preventive maintenance on automated systems.
• Work with conveyors and sortation systems; support installation tasks.
• Complete work orders; maintain required documentation.
• Operate at heights up to 40 ft; lift up to 75 lbs; push/pull 200 lb loads.
• Coordinate with technicians; manage tools inventory; may work with outside vendors.
• Possess electrical background with low voltage controls and PLC experience.
