Job summary

SupplyHouse is seeking a General Manager for our Farmers Branch, TX fulfillment center. You will lead day-to-day operations, oversee inbound/outbound, inventory control, and staff to achieve peak efficiency while driving continuous improvement.

This role includes travel to our Melville, NY headquarters for meetings and onboarding. The candidate will supervise senior leaders, develop a high-performing team, and ensure safety and quality across all operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• 7 years of applicable experience in warehouse, fulfillment, or distribution management with direct oversight of multiple teams.
• 3 years of managerial experience.
• Understanding of distribution flow, operational systems, integration, and automation.
• Proven ability to analyze KPIs and develop data-driven strategies to improve performance.
• Strong background in process improvement, including identifying workflow inefficiencies and implementing scalable solutions.
• Fundamental understanding of inventory, supply chain and logistics concepts.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Outlook, and Excel).
• Strong communication skills with the ability to influence and align with executive leadership and frontline teams.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all processes and procedures for inbound, outbound, inventory control and facility operations.
• Ensure staffing is adequate to operate at peak efficiency and complete daily tasks.
• Lead leadership team performance to meet KPI metrics.
• Drive continuous improvement to improve customer service, accuracy, productivity and reduce costs.
• Identify root causes and pilot resolutions for standard processes.
• Support standardization of overall fulfillment center operations.
• Develop leadership through coaching, mentoring, and succession planning.
• Deliver performance reviews and monthly check-ins with leadership.
• Promote safe working environment and culture of engagement.
