SpaceX is seeking a Fulfillment Buyer, Construction (Starship) to drive timely purchasing and delivery across multiple commodities and suppliers. You will partner with capital projects, facilities, and production teams to optimize cost, quality, and delivery while maintaining SpaceX’s procurement standards.

The role requires adaptability to a fast-moving environment, the ability to manage supplier performance, and a focus on delivering value through effective purchase order execution and issue

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree or 4+ years in supply chain, production, or engineering
• Experience in purchasing, capital equipment or indirect buying
• Strong problem-solving skills with a bias for speed

This Fulfillment Buyer will support Starbase purchases across multiple commodities, stakeholders (capital projects, facility management, production, etc.) and supply chain team clusters.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Issue purchase orders quickly and without error
• Ensure purchase orders are acknowledged by suppliers
• Obtain the original promise date from suppliers
• Review open order reports and manage deliveries
• Resolve invoice issues and ensure that vendors are paid on time
• Expedite parts as necessaryAct as customer service for SpaceX internal customers
• Support buyers in cost savings initiatives
• Lead miscellaneous procurement projects

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's degree; OR 4+ years of professional experience working in a supply chain, production, or engineering function in lieu of a degree

• Purchasing experience, specifically related to capital equipment or Indirect buying
• Remarkable problem-solving skills with a bias for speed
• Ability to learn quickly and prioritize appropriately to meet customer and company needs
• Excellent customer service skills
• Effective written, verbal and presentation communication skills
• Exceptional analytical and organizational skills
• Strong technical knowledge of MS Office Suite
• Ability to conduct all activities with the highest degree of integrity
• Detail-oriented, self-motivated and able to respond quickly to a fast-moving and ever-changing environment

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS

• Must be able to work extended hours and weekends as needed
• Must be willing to travel to other sites as needed
