Job summary

CEVA Logistics is seeking an experienced Solutions Design Automation Implementation Engineer to lead the deployment and commissioning of automated fulfilment systems in new distribution centers. You will install, configure, test, validate, and commission AS/RS, GTP, AMRs, conveyors and sortation equipment, ensuring projects meet scope, schedule and budget.

You will collaborate with cross‑functional teams and vendors, integrate automation with WMS/WCS/WES, troubleshoot issues, and document

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Industrial or Electrical Engineering or related field.
7+ years in logistics and distribution with 5+ years in automation systems.
Experience with AS/RS, GTP, AMRs, conveyors and sortation systems.
Experience with WMS, WCS, WES, PLCs and SCADA.
Deployment and commissioning of automated fulfilment solutions.

Responsibilities

Lead installation, configuration, testing, validation, and commissioning of automated fulfillment systems (AS/RS, GTP, AMRs, conveyors, sortation).
Collaborate with Automation Implementation Manager, Solutions Design and vendors to interpret designs for successful automation.
Conduct system validation and testing to meet performance, safety and operational requirements.
Integrate automation with WMS/WCS/WES and related control systems.
Participate in cross-functional project meetings and provide technical input on timelines and deliverables.
Identify and troubleshoot system issues during implementation and commissioning.
Support continuous improvement by recommending system optimisations to improve efficiency and reliability.
Document configurations, changes and test results for maintenance and compliance.
