Job summary

Lowe’s is hiring for a retail associate to pick, stage, inspect, and fulfill customer orders with accuracy and timeliness. You will deliver customer service by selecting high‑quality items, validating orders, answering questions, and directing customers to the right associates.

Responsibilities include operating powered equipment with required certification, maintaining inventory accuracy, and collaborating with leadership to resolve short picks while staying compliant with safety rules.

Qualifications

• 6 months of experience using a computer (inputting, accessing, modifying, or outputting information).
• 6 months of experience using common retail technology (smartphones/tablets).
• Powered Equipment Certification required (Counterbalance Forklift, Order Picker, Narrow Aisle Reach Truck); must be obtained if not already certified.

Responsibilities

• Pick, stage, inspect, and fulfill customer orders accurately and on time.
• Deliver excellent service by selecting high quality items, validating orders, answering questions, and connecting customers with the right associates.
• Operate and maintain certification for powered equipment and follow safety requirements.
• Support inventory accuracy using the Orders App, maintain SIMS compliance, and work with leadership to resolve short picks.
• Complete administrative, maintenance, and readiness tasks such as audits and locker management, while reporting safety or theft concerns.
• Achieve daily job responsibilities with a customer-first mindset and strong communication and teamwork skills.
• May be assigned other duties to support business needs.
