Job summary

Lowe's Companies, Inc. is seeking a Warehouse Associate in Roanoke Rapids, NC to pick, stage, inspect, and fulfill customer orders in a fast-paced retail environment. You will operate powered equipment in a safe manner and maintain inventory accuracy with the Orders App.

The role requires basic computer use and familiarity with retail tech, plus certification in powered equipment or willingness to obtain it. A high school diploma or GED is preferred.

Qualifications

• 6 months of computer use (inputting, accessing, modifying, or outputting information).
• 6 months of experience with common retail technology like smartphones or tablets.
• Powered equipment certification required or to be obtained if not already certified.

Responsibilities

• Pick, stage, inspect, and fulfill customer orders accurately and on time; keep staging areas clean, organized, and safe.
• Deliver excellent service by selecting quality items, validating orders, answering questions, and connecting customers with associates.
• Operate and maintain certification for powered equipment and follow safety requirements.
• Support inventory accuracy using the Orders App, maintain SIMS compliance, and work with leadership to resolve short picks.
• Complete administrative, maintenance, and readiness tasks including audits, order follow-ups, and locker management; report safety or theft concerns promptly.
• Foster a customer-first mindset with strong communication and teamwork to meet daily job responsibilities.
• May be assigned other duties to support business needs.
