Job summary

RMC Global seeks a Fuels Engineer for a full-time hybrid role in Dahlgren, VA. The candidate will evaluate reliability and redundancy of fuel infrastructure, covering petroleum, natural gas, and related networks, with strong written and verbal communication to DoW clients.

The position requires 5+ years in fuels infrastructure, data analysis, and the ability to deliver professional reports and presentations. Travel to DoW locations and collaboration with DoW stakeholders are essential.

Qualifications

• Four-year college degree in engineering, fuels management, petroleum engineering, or a related discipline.
• 5+ years of experience in fuels infrastructure, petroleum systems, or related fields.
• Familiarity with federal fuels standards and DoW policies.
• Military or installation-level fuel systems experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess fuels infrastructure for reliability, resilience, and single-points of failure.
• Analyze system data and prepare clear, actionable reports for DoW stakeholders.
• Conduct on-site and virtual assessments across DoW locations worldwide.
• Develop mitigation options and document risk-based recommendations.
