FUELER/OILER - DENVER, CO

We are seeking an experienced oiler who is responsible for operating and maintaining a commercial hazmat truck, fueling, inspecting and maintaining various types of construction equipment.

Job Responsibilities

• Must provide your own tools/ (shop can supply some specialty tools)
• Must demonstrate good driving skills, maintain driver’s license
  • CDL B with hazmat and tanker is required for drivers
• Fuel various types of earth moving construction equipment
• Ensure proper fluid levels on all machines
• Ensure machine is greased properly
• Inspect machines for leaks, ensure proper preventative maintenance
• Proper use of service manuals and laptop
• Follow all safety procedures
• Proper use of PPE
• Lockout, Tagout/ Chock, Block safety protocols
• Maintain equipment safely & efficiently
• Spill prevention
• Clean work area

Physical Demands

• Requires full range of body motion including: operating levers or controls, climbing ladders, manual finger dexterity and eye-hand coordination
• Requires use of foot-controlled pedals
• Occasional lifting and carrying of items weighing up to 50 pounds
• Requires working under stressful conditions
• Requires the ability to operate large equipment in rough terrain
• Jarring and jolting is common during equipment operation

Working Conditions

• Frequent exposure to rain, sleet, snow, dust, mud, heat, cold noise & other conditions common to a construction site
• May require irregular hours, out-of-town work, overnight stays, nights, weekends, and holidays
• May require working in trench conditions
