Job summary

Penske Truck Leasing is seeking a Fleet Maintenance Fueler Washer in Austin, TX to fuel, wash and inspect vehicles and greet customers as they arrive. You’ll contribute to safe, clean, ready-to-drive trucks and friendly service at the service bay.

No prior experience is required; Penske provides training to learn vehicle maintenance processes and use leading-edge technology, with a clear path toward technician roles and career growth.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, equivalent, or prior work experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• The ability to work well as part of a team.
• The ability and willingness to work outside.
• Basic mechanical ability and tool usage (preferred).
• Basic computer skills.
• Must understand and comply with Penske safety and maintenance policies.

Responsibilities

• Greeting customers and ensuring a great experience while fueling and washing vehicles.
• Performing vehicle readiness inspections for tires, fluids, and basic maintenance items.
• Helping keep facilities clean and safe environments for customers and associates.
• Building skills through training and hands-on coaching to perform minor repairs such as installing mounted tires, replacing or rotating tires and performing preventive maintenance repairs.
• Completing other projects and tasks as assigned by supervisor.
