Job summary

Penske Truck Leasing is seeking a Fleet Maintenance Fueler Washer in Lubbock, TX. You will greet customers, fuel and wash vehicles, and perform basic inspections to ensure readiness before road use.

No experience is required; Penske provides training in maintenance processes and technology, with opportunities to advance to a technician role within a company offering stability and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, equivalent, or prior work experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work well as part of a team.
• Ability and willingness to work outside.
• Basic mechanical ability and tool usage (preferred).
• Basic computer skills.
• Understand and comply with Penske safety and maintenance policies (DOT/OSHA).
• Regular, predictable, full attendance is essential.
• DOT-related requirements and travel for training may be required.

Responsibilities

• Greeting our customers and ensuring a great experience as you fuel and wash vehicles.
• Performing vehicle readiness inspections for tires, fluids and basic maintenance items.
• Helping keep facilities clean and safe for customers and associates.
• Developing skills through training and hands-on coaching to perform minor repairs (tires, preventive maintenance).
• Completing other projects and tasks as assigned by supervisor.
