Great Lakes Petroleum Co. seeks a Transportation Supervisor to oversee Fuel Truck Drivers, ensuring safe, compliant deliveries and efficient route planning. You will monitor driver attendance, maintain route sheets, and coordinate replacements as needed.

Responsibilities include enforcing DOT regulations, managing inventory, pricing, warehousing, and timely reporting. Strong communication and weekend/evening availability are required, with a focus on safety and reliability.

• Must have 2-3 years of experience in fuel dispatch.

• Maintains an accurate daily attendance roster of drivers.

• Oversees transportation of fuel, inventory levels, pricing, warehousing, deliveries, and route planning.
• Ensures drivers clock time accurately and reflects it in daily reports.
• Coordinates with drivers to resolve issues that arise during delivery.
• Performs clerical support duties as assigned.

This position is responsible for overseeing Fuel Truck Drivers to meet customer needs and resolve issues while ensuring the highest level of safety.

Primary Responsibilities

• Maintains an up-to-date listing of assigned drivers
• Ensures access to an up-to-date route sheet for each scheduled route
• Ensures that each scheduled route is appropriately covered by utilizing available relief or substitute drivers
• Maintains an accurate daily attendance roster of drivers
• Demonstrates a comprehensive knowledge of DOT regulations
• Oversee transportation of fuel, inventory levels, daily pricing, market movement, warehousing, deliveries, reloading with minimal downtime and efficient route planning
• Ensure that drivers clock their time accurately and that any write-in time is accurately reflected in the daily report
• Coordinate with drivers to resolve any issues, problems, or concerns that arise during delivery
• Perform a variety of clerical support duties as assigned
